Dynamic HR operations deserve software built for them.

The gap we're addressing.

We started bluworks because we saw a gap nobody was filling.

Most workforce systems handle employee requests and payroll for office workers well. What they don't handle is dynamic work. Shift coverage, attendance across multiple work sites, hourly pay calculations, overtime disputes, variable allowance components, or local labor laws.

That left operational businesses stuck. No system fit how they actually run, so they patched it together. Excel for schedules. Fingerprint machines for attendance. Reconciliation and calculations done by hand. 3 to 5 days every month spent fixing the same data, with errors still present in every cycle.

This is the problem we set out to solve. Businesses deserve a better work infrastructure. We built bluworks for them.

Meet our founders.

Hussein Wahdan

Co-founder & CEO

Before bluworks, Hussein spent four years running strategy at Jumia, across its e-commerce, payments, and delivery businesses, after starting his career in corporate banking at CIB. He studied economics at AUC and has an MBA from IE in Madrid.

He started bluworks because being able to plan your life shouldn't depend on whether your manager remembered to update an Excel sheet.

Farah Osman

Co-founder & COO

Farah spent the majority of her career in workforce development, working with non-profits, private sector companies, and the government. Same conversations every time: businesses wanting reliability, workers wanting transparency, and nothing in between to make either side trust the other.

Her job at bluworks, in her own words, is to keep business growth and worker dignity from being treated as opposite things.
